I'm thinking the icon would just be a pretty typical face shot with a similar pose/angle to my current one, and him smiling. He doesn't have to have his mouth open. Those colors are just in case. It's pretty much up to you honestly, if you think a different angle would work better, that's fine too. I provided a color for the background, but if it doesn't look good, it can be changed. Anyway, thanks very much for offering to do this. I'll make sure to pay you quickly when it's done.
