Tato Pic
So, I'm curious. Did he *ask* you not to post it because of the attention it would might him, or did he *recommend* you not post it because of the attention it might bring you? The way you phrased it, it sounds like it could be either, but those are rather different things. Anyway, I'm just looking for clarification.
Personally, the pic isn't my thing anyway, so I'm not asking you to send it to me.
(Yes, I know this could have been a comment, I just didn't know if you wanted comments on that post)

Re: Tato Pic
Well, firstly, thank you for PMing me about it. And second, there's an even BIGGER reason as to why tato wouldn't want it posted.

Well, now I'm even more curious.

As I figured. You see, the pic is of Rosemary Prower breastfeeding her ten-year-old son Miles (who happens to be in a diaper, by the way). Apparently, it made
tato a little uncomfortable because it involved a ten-year-old kid getting breastfed by his mother (although tato thought that the pic was cute nonetheless).

Well, I already knew that part. (You pretty much said exactly that in the post.) However, I didn't think that that alone was enough for him to really care if it was posted. Unless, as I said, he doesn't want to be known as the type of person who'd draw something like that.

Well, he just wasn't comfortable drawing it via commissions of any kind. That I understand. He (according to his now-updated ToS) is a little more comfortable with drawing mothers breastfeeding their kids when they're either baby age or 18+. His rules, not mine.

Yeah. I understand that much. Doesn't mean I'd assume he'd have a big problem with you posting the pic he already drew, unless he said he would. All you said was that he "recommended against it," which sounds almost like he meant it for your sake.

Well, it's best that I did as he recommended just to be on the safe side.

Well, you still never said how he "recommended it." That's a very ambiguous phrase. It doesn't even imply necessarily that he has any stake in it.

I don't know how else to explain it to you. Sorry.

Well, did he give any reason for his recommendation? Did he express that *he* would rather it not be posted, or was he concerned for your some reason? If it's the former, of course you should respect his wishes as the artist, however if it's the latter it's entirely your prerogative whether or not to take his advice.

He would rather it not be posted anywhere on the internet.

Well, that's understandable then. Just saying the he "recommended" it not be doesn't mean that necessarily.
